| Ruth Farrell |
|
| Worked for
over 15 years in assisting small businesses start and grow and was part of the beginins of the Bridge of Hope Fair Trade Project. Prior
to working in Peru, she worked with business start-ups in Louisville,
Kentucky, USA, with a program that offered training and loans to women
and immigrants. She also worked with community development in the Democratic
Republic of the Congo. She has a Masters in Business Administration
from George Washington University in Washington, D.C. Seeing artisans internalize the values that embody fair trade through their experience of operating a business based on the values of transparency and solidarity gives her enthusiasm for this project and hope for changed patterns of consumerism. |

In Peru, he is a member of the Presbytery of Northeast Lima of the Evangelical Church of Peru and the President of the Fraternidad Cristiana Vida, a member of Peru's Joining Hands Network. He currently works as group facilitator in the Fair Trade Project. Eduardo's hope is to increase the quality of life for the project artisans—not just in fair trade marketing but in the family life as well. The artisans' lives can impact neighbors, friends and relatives, helping all to realize that the God of life and justice works through everyone. |
