Munay Rumi
This group is made up of 5 people (3 women and 2 men) who produce quality jewelry. The artisans make a variety of different jewelry in gold, silver, and other metals.
Interestingly enough, these artisans learned to produce jewelry in a factory, in poor work conditions. They decided to become independent, but their small scale of production made competition extremely difficult: each one worked to identify customers and attend various fairs. Finally, they decided to work together, and at that point they learned of the Fair Trade organization, Bridge of Hope.
Today the group members work closely together and are highly motivated to participate in the Bridge of Hope project.
